A little late on the draw, but I found this article interesting and above

all bold. We openly discuss health, food, politics, religion and whatever else pops up, I truly wished more would consider sex health/drive to openly discuss. Good for you to be open and bold about something as important as sex health...it is!

I've been married twice, several long-term relationships and I have a personal opinion. I'm also in the alternative health field so have researched and delved into this area in depth. ......from what I've learned, everyone has different sex drives naturally some more so than others, particularly woman. I would first consider the degree of change for myself. Most degrees of drive are directly related to hormone health. One expert stated; sex drive can adamantly be correlated to fatigue and degrees of fatigue or lack of energy, as determining factors of health and fitness. So, for us moms who are or have multi-tasked years away, it is not unusual to be tired, but my drive has never faultered. I believe it is because I have tried to keep balance between diet, fitness and rest all of my life.

If I were to lack in drive, I would strongly consider my health; hormone levels, diet, supplements, enough sleep, etc. Taking into consideration a change in sexual desire is as much a 'red flag' in determining health as hair loss or skin problems, inconsistant heatbeat, high blood pressure, etc. Hormones regulate every function of our endocrine system, not just sex drive; just as our hair/skin & nails are obvious, outward signs of good health or deficiencies, drastic changes in levels of sexual desire can red flag hormone/health issues.

.....I have known healthy woman who have very little drive as well, but never have had...so no discrepancies.

Re:
Yes, too much time together can do it

Yeah I know what you mean...I was married a couple times. With my second husband sex was always good because he traveled all the time. With my last marriage we were together all the time...I do know that's partially responsible for my lack of interest..

Re:
marriage, kids, job, life . . . it happens - the sex drive goes. The story is partially factual - based on some of my experiences and some of my friends.. I have elaborated some for humor.

Flapper...this is cute, sad and informative...Is it really about you or not? Heck I dunno what to say, I am someone who hasn't had sex in years so nothing I could add would be beneficial. I will say that being single does afford me the time to self gratification....It works for me anyway..lol
