Re: Re:
Ex Turpi: I stand corrected. This is the state's summary or federal government's summary of allegations against Bonds.

Re:
Ex Turpi: My Thanksgiving was great! I hope that yours was great too! I'm just saying that things don't look too good for Bonds. Isn't it true that the evidence is strong against a person if they're indicted?

WD:
I am a former prosecutor. An indictment is NOT evidence of a crime. It is just the state's summary of what they are alleging the defendant did. We do great disrespect and damage to our system of laws and our system of justice if we 'convict' anyone before the judge or the jury does. Bonds may well be guilty but it is not for the media to conclude.
By the way, I hope your Thanksgiving holiday was relaxing and healthy.

Our System Of Justice?
Ex Turpi: Regarding Bonds, the indictment states that he has tested positive on numerous occasions for steroids. We will see what happens with this case.

Re: But we all saw the lies on TV! What then?
Decshak: It is all right for anyone to form an opinion based on what he sees, hears or reads. Yet, it should remain sacrosanct that one refrains from coming to a conclusion on an accused guilt until the judicial process or processes are complete. That is our system of laws.

Re: The court of public opinion has always been a lynch mob
My point is that justice will not be served if an indictment is considered a conviction. Thanks for commenting.
