kooka_lives - I'm still amazed at how many people we run into on this forum

that have no qualm at all about promoting inequity to the point of creating a double standard.

Their religious opinions are all that matter. No problem at all for them to irresponsibly proliferate negative and groundless stereotypes based on religious propaganda but speak one truth that they don't want to hear . . .

NOBODY REALLY ATTACKS CHRISTIANS, BUT FOLLOW APOSTLE PAUL
Those who Christians accuse of attacking, simply are questioning -- but hey    that's what the Apostle Paul said: "Prove all things . . . " and that takes questioning.

As Jesus said (paraphrasing), "test whether your house is built on firm bedrock, or on sand, so that it might stand when storms (questioning and criticism) come."

Solid beliefs will stand the test.  Shaky beliefs will not.  Christian's main problem is in adhering to precepts that can easily be proven to be invalid, blindly believing what cannot really be believed in.

The whole person discards the old invalid and embraces the new valid (as in Hebrews, where the folding up and putting away of vestures that are no longer relevant is mentioned, and new ones replacing them).

Those who continually put away the darkness of the invalid and take up the more valid constantly move toward the light.  Others who embrace the invalid are left behind in the darkness (but they don't know it is darkness).
