One quick additional point, Pat…
Let’s call a spade a spade: “Deadly force” is a polite phrase, but when confronted by these guys, you need to “kill” before they kill you. Incidentally, consider getting an immediate shot off. That will distract them so you can make your second shot count.

Ok, you guys. You made your point. I understand the appropriate and
only response to someone who's willing to kill you for no reason but the accident of your birth is deadly force. I get that. But I still think it's rooted in fear and the sneaking suspicion they might be wrong.

arGee - I agree completely, as I was mentioning to Kooka, our local cure
of a couple of decades ago was a malevolence greater than theirs.
But it was necessarily covert malevolence. Their main man in this area, a mini David Duke wannabe without the polish was attempting to establish a branch of the KKK. After a few cross burnings on his rural property, he had his house burned down by persons unknown. I mean completely torched. The fire department, though they will vehemiently deny it, took their sweet time getting there to save the basement.

I understand your point, Pat...
But I have met many of these guys face-to-face. I'm here to tell you that they fear nothing. If anything, their danger comes from this lack of fear. You might keep in mind something Dixy Lee Ray used to say: Ignorance can be cured, but stupid is forever. These guys are stupid AND scary. They turn to violence first, and the don't look back.
I understand Gome's tongue-in-cheek recommendation, but the problem is that they are learning how to use the system. Like the Islamofascists, there is ONLY one language they completely understand – violence. To prevail over these guys, you must be willing to shoot first, and make your shots count. (This is NOT tongue-in-cheek!)

When you're dealing with a scared person, he's very dangerous.
The more scared, the more paranoid someone is, the more dangerous, the more likely to lash out with weaponry, with hate, with death. So it's fairly clear to me that the white supremacists aren't all that sure they're so supreme, in fact they're pretty scared of everyone and everything outside their very small, very restricted comfort zone. It's enough to worry a logical person.

kooka_lives -I agree, white supremecy is a philosophy that has no substance
to a great extent unless we are willing to acknowledge and react to their existence.
Sometimes however, to ignore them is not the best plan of action. About 20 years ago, the KKK attempted to establish a Canadian branch in my city. They held a couple of cross burnings on the property of a well known local white supremist. A short while later this guy's house mysteriously burned down, we never heard about them again.

When I worked at Wal-Mart
Some guy came in with some Nazi pins on his jacket. Right away I made a judgment about his intelligence and was not upset when I was able to get out of having to deal with him. I was also surprised at how badly I wanted to punch the guy. Part of promoting hate as they do is to get people to act violently towards them so they can play the victim, and you do not need to be very intelligent to be able to do that. We saw it here in Colorado some time back when the Skinheads organized a parade and as they marched through downtown Denver, they were not met with a warm welcome by the many groups of minorities that live there. But while stuff was being thrown at them, they just acted all innocent and let the cops escort them away.
Basically, no matter how upsetting their existence may be, the best course to deal with them really does seem to be just to ignore them and make sure they have no power. If they do not get the justifiable outbursts they are trying to produce, they have nothing.
