Now, kingmi, this guy may not be a terrorist. He is mujahideen, which
translates to "freedom fighter."  Given Musharraf's style of government (dictatorial) and the fact that Pakistan is actually a union of four distinct areas, this may be a separatist movement.  Regardless, it doesn't make them terrorists (and doesn't mean they aren't, either).  However, they may condone terrorist acts, which is just as bad, but do we know this for certain?  For all we know, this "radical cleric" could be the closest thing to a democratic leader Pakistan has (not counting Bhutto).  I think the word "terrorist" is used all too liberally these days to designate anybody that is on the other side, regardless of their stand and who they are.  You know, like Bush calling everybody with a gun in Iraq opposed to the Iraqi government "terrorists"...

Martial Law feeds this sort of behaviour.In the countries of the world where democracy really obtains, martial law is never contemplated.
