you know i thought about that while i wrote this, but the part of nothing but the truth is a dream, because to obtain total knowledge and truth would mean a whole different world and set of rules. interesting though to think about

There's a difference between truth and honesty - "I took your candy," is being honest. For me, the meaning of life is experiencing, experimenting - people always asume that "absolute truth" is something beautiful, beyond words - but what if it is something darker, and uglier, and more terrifying - than any words could express? I like to keep people on their intellectual toes, so to speak.

Yes, truth is elusive. I found long ago that you cannot go wrong with telling the truth.
