I am not sure I want to live that long, but that is neat information, I am Irish, German and Swedish, a good strong combination

IS IT IN YOUR GENES???
Not in mine though I'm mid 70s; but my wife's mother is approaching 101 and has a blood pressure of 128/72.  So maybe some of that side's genes will reflect in my sons, and their families.  My wife's grandmother lived to 107.  Some say she just "upped and said,'I'm tired of this old world', then went to bed and slept her way into death."  German stock.  And then came the Irish into the family.  What a mixture.   Their land has been in the family for 150 years. Beautiful farmland.  Corn. Soy. Lentils.  I believe this "nearness" to the land has helped preserve that valuable "what?" that has enabled their body and mind to continue functioning longer. joab    sorry about the long commment.
