I hate malls. If I could get out of it, I would never go to one, but
sometimes it's the only place I can get something, so... And you're right about the terrorism. Most terrorists belong to an extranationalist extremist group or to some separatist or nationalist group attempting to make a political point. And somebody somewhere is going to try to make a political statement sooner or later. They tend to think the more violent or outrageous the act, the better the potential for their particular point to get across.

I'm with you......even before I'd ever really heard of terrorism, living in apartments, etc., I always said I refused to live my life at the mercy of criminals, afraid to go out, afraid to drive after dark, etc.....I do not understand fear. Using common sense, taking common sense precautions are one thing - although I admit that I am not always good at doing that, trying to get better - but giving up your life for "maybe's, what if's, etc....but, most especially, for evil?!" HELL, NO!!!!! I told my granddaughter not long ago to always remember this acronym for fear:

Appearing
Real......that's exactly what most things we fear are,,,,as for the rest, only God can protect us, anyway.

My question is, is it real... dose the media just get this stuff to put us on our toes?
My husband is a Pilot for a commercial airline now, but has been flying for 20 years. The only thing to change after 9/11 ia air travel, our other borders are virtually open.
If you want to be afraid , be afraid of afirmitive action placing unqualified people to fly your aircraft, and when they crash to say they were heros.

I'm in agreement with you and I don't fear death either. It is unevitable.....
I am so concerned what this world will be like for my grandchildren. It just gets worse every day.
I'm so sorry I haven't been here. Will you forgive me? Don and I have just been busy with grandchildren and such and I hardly have had any time to get on here and read. Nothing's changed though, I still think very highly of you. God bless.
