It's always difficult running into family and friends from when you were previously married. Just when you think you've got a handle on your emotions an encounter like that can bring everything to the surface.

It's funny, they raised him to be irresponsible, to not be able to take care of himself and much less, of a wife and then when he shows his true colors, colors they painted and I leave, I'm the bad wife.
Thank God I'm out of that mess, but seeing her again was horrible.

It's a rule. Never mind that their son had been exposed to their not-so tender care for his entire life...
