I'm right there with you, Justi. There's really no excuse for this type of
behavior.

Saul Relative
This little thing went through so much pain you know. I just get sick to my stomach thinking of how really cruel a person has to be to hurt a little helpless thing like that. It happens hourly in this country and I have no sympathy for the people who do these things.

This may have been an accident, Wavy. However, chances are we're
dealing with another sociopath.  They objectify, the definition of inhumanity...

Have You Seen The Report On ''Baby Grace''?
Saul_Relative: Some people have no respect for human life.  How could anyone do something like this to an innocent girl?  It's inhuman.

I'm open with my children. They're teens. I tell them about the ways of
the world, bpitter.  I do not mince words, cut corners, or soften with euphemisms.  I give them the benefit of my knowledge and share with them current news topics (that they would ordinarily ignore), just to make certain they understand that the world isn't all Disney and Nickolodeon.  I don't preach to them about the different degrees of morality; I provide them with an ethical viewpoint (that they hopefully will adopt).  Hell is what you make of it, bpitter, but I don't think the world is any more perverse than it was centuries ago.  You can only protect your children so much, then its up to them.  Too much and you weaken your child's abilities to adapt and protect themselves as they grow older.  Let them learn, even the bad stuff; education, knowledge is power.  In the end, it is their choice on which side of the ethical line they'll stand.

It is truly a shame!

I was so hurt to hear that story and see a replica of what she might have looked like and am still appalled.

Our country is "without God" it seems. Even though I know He's there and with Baby Grace right now. She's in a much better place that this "hell on earth". So we shouldn't feel sorry for her anymore.

We need to feel sorry for our own kids if we don't help them understand about the dangers of pedophiles, rapists, and the like. We must prepare them as best we can to be more aware of where they are, who they are with, and who might be paying more attention to them than they should be. I say we should send our kids to martial arts classes so they can learn the proper way of protecting themselves. With that and other protective aides that are legal, a child should never be by themselves on the streets nowadays. There's a child missing every day it seems. Our society is hooked on sex, drugs, and every other perversion that can be thought of. Look at everyone around you and remember faces or other attributes if you feel uncomfortable about them. Think of protecting yourself at all times because those who let their guard down are the ones who are missing today.

Sooner or later, as in the case of Kansas City's Precious Doe, this case will also be solved and someone will pay for this heinous crime.  In the meantime, surely their feelings of guilt and fear will not give them a moment's rest.

Saul
I see the face of that little girl, and it's so sad, I really have no words for this...

It was and is a terrible situation, but if they had not offered the artists
renditions, then the family would never know what happened to their little girl... (unless, of course, one or some of them had something to do with it)

You are point on, Sincerity...

And what a terrible way for the people who loved her to find out--
through the publication of a nameless image of brutality and insanity...

I hope not too. Geez. So sick and so sad. I hope they find out soon. Seems they'll do forensic testing and stuff...they'll know soon...

I hope they catch these bastards, sherri. I don't care what their
connection to the little girl is: this is a crime.  Nobody deserves this kind of treatment, alive or dead...

very sad indeed...
what a shocking thing to take place...

I hope not, Sincerity, but statistics fall in favor of a relative or close
friend of the family doing this.  However, they haven't ruled out sexual assault yet, either.  I haven't heard anything else...

Saul,
Oh boy...from what I sense it was the parent who did it. Sorry, it's sick but it's clear as day. Her energy basically screams that the parent got too mad. It was accidental. Parent panicked and hid her. Oh boy. That's sad.

Let's hope they find out, FYS, and bring him to justice... for all our
sakes...

So sad...
that poor little girl.  I keep picturing my husband's granddaughter, how innocent she is, how helpless and fragile---who would do such a thing?

I have thought of this also, draco, as I'm sure the detectives on the case
have as well.  But we'll see soon.  Just like the case of that little girl in Nevada, they'll find out who she is soon.  Shortly thereafter, we'll know her story...

its sad to see society decay to the point were even the innocent are not safe.

my guess is this: the skull fractures may have been accidental. in an attempt to cover up the death, for fear of being accused of murder, the parents boxed her up and tried to, in a sense, make the problem disappear.
