It's all about perspective, derella. One person's offense is another's
pleasure. Acceptability comes in many forms. It is our job as diligent parents and socially responsible adults to instill good values in our children. Talking to your children about acceptable behavior is imperative. Children understand (for the most part). Showing them differences in acceptability, explaining why and what, showing them right and wrong, are the keys. In the end, they fill in the gaps and decide for themselves anyway. Being overly judgmental and condemnatory doesn't work. Neither does doing nothing. Find a happy medium...
