It's sad, isn't it - when we try to turn back the hands of time a revisit a place that provided us with so many fond memories.  It's never quite the same.....

both the poem and the sentiment are so moving.  Time moves on, nothing stands still, but still somehow those changes don't always seem for the better, do they?  Re: your comment on my blog.
