Hi Guys
this is the reply I finally got to my email ....

Yes, the loss of .Dave. is a loss for Blogit and he will be missed. For

And I've already heard from another person who's received the same reply!!!!!!!!!!

So (I feel like a prophet here when I tell you that) this is probably the answer that you will all get!!!!!!!

NOW DOESN'T THAT EXPLAIN EVERYTHING OR WHAT???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Neither of my emails has been answered, either.
It's disappointing and frustrating and it's distracting me from getting busy on the NaNo project, which .Dave wouldn't like, but it's my butterfly mind that won't settle... "Bland/Blind" --if only that's all it were. was?  is?   .Dave would know.

Very well said....thank you for speaking my thoughts far better than I ever could have.  It is not only the mature thing, but the honorable thing for an individual, or a business, to give those owed by some relationship, appropriate explanations.....and, if also appropriate on second look, position changes.....pride is not an issue, common sense and integrity are.  I think all concerned in this situation meet this description.  I paid a year in advance.....for 5 blogs.....I am a customer, we all are.

Isn't it quite often the case that the best people get made an example of?
So by that methodology if I become a right whinge bag about stuff that offends practically nobody, I might get listened to more often?

I've got the whinging part down, though it's a pity that the stuff I find offensive doesn't qualify or is too mainstream.

Bland or blind, the whole thing is Blogit bollocks.

perfectly stated...
Great post, and I'm sure the Blogit powers that be are reading all of them.  They are simply choosing not to answer to us.  I think the sad truth is that we are replaceable in their view.  If we all get angry and leave, a new strain of bloggers will come along and fill our places.  It an evil cycle, but a reality none-the-less.

It's a pity that when those who do care, Azur, voice their opinion

It goes unanswered.  I think TAPS nailed it: arrogance, not wanting to admit a mistake, but it is still no way to run a business that wants to be in bussiness: unresponsive to its clients, indifferent to the huge outpouring of support from bloggers who love .Dave and his zany charm, and imposing rules willy-nilly that make no sense when others run roughshod over other bloggers daily.

It makes no sense to me, it's so unfair.

TAPS. yes that is clear to me.
Unfortunately few people are bold enough to admit their mistakes. In the long term the  blandness will impact on them but they will probably be blind to it.

I think perhaps they don't want to admit that they made a mistake in doing what they did.
