Nautikos, again, well said. The logic of this confuses me.
Why him and not someone who shall remain nameless who went off on a tirade just the other day, seemingly without repercussion, insulting and hurting feelings of other bloggers, so that one almost left because of it. Why? This makes no sense to me?
I hope you get a satisfactory answer. Probably the same one we all seem to be getting. Confidentiality forbids us from discussing the cases of other members. End of discussion. Somehow, that just doesn't suffice.

Nautikos - I don't get it either, it seems that on a site that is propelled
by user contributions, that a longstanding impeccable track record means nothing.
We've seen a number of bannings over the years, most we do not know the whole story of but we have always felt a certain confidence that past bannings were deserved. In this case, and if we do know the whole story as it seems we do, it is almost inexplicable. A post that is one number, though efficient in terms of author effort, is as you suggest not a nuisance to anyone. The comment spammers meanwhile, those who sit down to copy and past "good post" in every blog they can click on and are much more of a nuisance in that they are proactively engaging others, are allowed to carry on.

Well said and I'm with you 100% on this. It is getting increasingly difficult to understand how Blogit operates at all, because they seems extremely arbitrary with their decisions but I don't know that anything can be done.

I'm very disappointed by Blogit's behaviour, but not surprised.
.Dave is probably one of biggest examples of what entices people to come to and stay on Blogit despite all the other crapola that goes on here.
Inasmuch as I'm mad about .Dave and sad for him, this inflated infraction Blogit has associated him with bothers & worries me, as you so aptly pointed out, there are many other more serious goings on that go un-punished.
