While you may be correct that the movie is despicable. (I have not seen the movie nor read the books.) It is better to have a candid discussion with your kids, rather than forbidding anyone to see it. I am convinced that kids can make sensible evaluations. Would you stop your child from reading King Lear? I hope not. Be the compass for your child and your friend's children. You will be immensely more effective that way.
