Thanks for writing this letter...we'd sure love to see the response too.
you did way better than I did...all I could do was send an email asking if it was true. I was so upset I couldn't think straight.

I'm with you.
It's disgusting to think that one individual's complaint can prompt such a strong reaction from the Blogit staff.

He's not the first...
nor will he be the last to be kicked for some intangible reasoning that only the Blogit Gods will ever truly understand. I'm sure Dave appreciates the support from all of us here, but I guarantee you Blogit could care less if a handful of bloggers leave over it, that has also happened on many occassions. One thing I know to be true, Blogit's administrators need to make sure that their reasons are actually legitimate on this one, because one of these times they will cast away the wrong blogger for the wrong reason and end up with a lawsuit on their hands. In today's world, I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. Sometimes I think they forget that we pay to play here, and that this isn't a free service. If we pay to play, don't we have certain rights as consumers that need to be focused on first and foremost...I'd like to hear proof that that is the case, from Blogit themselves. What are the big guys saying about all of this anyway?!? Hmmm...

Azur, I hope Blogit has not actually done what we think they've done.
Because if they have, they've shot themselves in the foot. .D___ is without doubt one of the most consistently positive and productive bloggers, and one of the most encouraging to others. He's kept us involved and interested with his challenges and his fun -- it would be a loss to all if they cut him off.

Azur, I'm new here,. so I only have an inkling of what is going on
But I've been enjoying Dave's game so much, I don't see the harm in it, just writers blowing off steam with silly puns and word games. If anything, it gets the creative juices flowing, sparks writing, and seems like harmless fun. Who could have a problem with that?
The site will seem so much duller without him.

Thanks for posting this, Azur. I've been emailing Dave back and forth today, and I know he'll appreciate all the help he can get. I seriously hope they consider reinstating his membership, because if they don't they may just lose one more blogger.

Azur, Great post.
You are so good at saying what you want to say. This upset me no end and I couldn't even think what to say that would help in any way. Thank you.
