Re: Re: Re: Re: Lustor
I am relaxed! It is hard to explain how I can be serious yet relaxed, and not bad! Sheesh! Words fail here!

Of course, don't forget staring into the yellow of a candle flame, or fire. Even the morning and evening sun helps eye health! Thanks!

It is said that the Earth's energies change in the course of the day. It is my own experience too. While I can use the 'energising' in the daytime, it is not as valuable in the night. For the sake of regularity, I did meditation and postures when I could. Something's better than nothing! Of course, the refinement of consciousness is something else. Back in the '80's I started to avoid people because they wouldn't settle for a short pleasant exchange. They would insist on getting into my head! Thanks!

Re: Thanks-dhanyabadh jee. Have U studied the works of Sivananda of Rishike
I actually base a lot of my yoga on Swami Sivananda! He was a great teacher. The Shanmukhi mudra is from him. I don't have my yoga books with me, but I have done these so much, I don't need books.... though reminders do help. I stayed at the Divine Life Ashrama in Rishikesh for a good while, and Yoga Niketan, too! It was in Rishikesh that I found my first Yoga student! She was a mute American, Donna Platt! I have tried to locate her here, in vain! Dhanyavad!

I enjoy yoga in the morning and meditation at night. This seems to work best for me in keeping all aspects of "me" healthy.

Postures must always be done in pairs. A forward bending followed by backward bending etc. The head to knee must be done with the Cobra! The light of the Soul is interesting to look at. It is greenish to yellow! Shutting down the head, pulls back your attention from the outer world! Thanks!

Re: Oh but I always get the giggles. Give me some flight exercises please.
For flying... pressure on the eardrum or giggles? A previous post has one called alternate nostril breathing. That should help! Doing postures generally helps health and strenght! Thanks!

the knee to head is great for back pain,
although when i sit back on my heels, i get leg cramps? I can't wait to try the eye exercises and the shutting down of the head. The light of the soul, interesting.

Go back to my first post on hatha Yoga. You will find two postures there that helps.. the head-to-knee, and the Cobra. These work well. Just follow the instructions! Thanks!
