I love memories like this! I can relate, I have prattled on to my friends about how my husband when we were first dating dove under my car and fixed a hanging wire for me without my having to ask. I think that's why I married him---he's handy.

No no no!! The man I wrote about in this poem is NOT my ex-husband!! This was my first love- a REAL man who treated me with nothing but respect and kindless and love.
