Living, if girls are too mean to boys, they risk getting bopped...

I totally agree with you on that business of women fighting. Women in the boxing ring - it's bizarre...

We have those boys too, believe me - but we are just talking trends and tendencies here that apply to aggregates and are best captured by statistics, something quite familiar to the insurance industry...

I can imagine that and I agree with you. Talking about female bullying... I've read in the local news that a group of 5 girls 'raped' a boy!

BTW, I'm not taking any exception with the bullying girl part.....just that part about boys just using fists, etc.  I was lucky in never experiencing the nasty girl business in my youth but, I mostly lived in small towns, and when I didn't....well, I was always just one of those people who got along with everyone.  I am sickened by what I've seen on tv of girls/women fighting....it's disgusting...period.  As for fighting with their wits....well, face it, women have had to even the playing field where they lacked muscle

I have seen teen girls in a knock-down, drag-out, rolling-on-the-floor, flashing extremities and with hair-pulling and screeching/cursing.   It is a pretty ugly thing and rather shocking, to say the least.

There were only 11 girls in my graduating class, so there really
weren't enough to form a high-fallutin clique that bullied the trailer trash broads and the nerdy girlies. But I had a mother-in-law who had that manipulative bitch thing down to an art. She must've been hell on wheels in high school.

You must grow a different breed of boys in Canada.....ones who don't taunt the little boys who are "different" or can't/won't play sports....or who make fun of ugly/fat girls.  Sorry to be argumentative, but I've had a tender heart all my life and acutely aware of hurt feelings.....often a soft shoulder to cry on or defender of the weak..... and in my era, it was more often little boys who were the meanies, not the girls......maybe it was just on my planet!!!

Here we're talking only of teenagers. By the time the boys have turned into men, they have had enough contact with the 'weaker sex' to have learned the secrets of psychological warfare...

I have no idea what the facts of this are, and can only go on conjecture....which, from what I know of human nature in general and modern culture specifically, I probably have a pretty good picture of what this is all about....BUT....I have to say that the general comment that boys/men only beat each other up physically, and somehow play more fairly is, in IMHO, one of the biggest jokes in common social mythology.  From my observatons in social and business interactions, they play just as many head games as women do....and just as mean ones.  Sorry, you may not have meant to imply that they didn't, but too many people do.  I certainly don't mean to defend either gender using either method of nastiness......although, both seem to be somewhat hardwired into our "natures" - to one degree or another -  by now.....I don't know.....too many years dealing with the public, maybe?
