I have been following this disaster as much as time allowed, as do many people here! My heart goes out to those poor folks who lost their homes, and I certainly hope that your area will be spared...

I pray you will be safe. Such a losss to so many people as mother nature does what she wants to do. Was the fire started by natural causes? That part I haven't hear.

I was just thinking of you when I heard half a million people were told to evacuate this morning...Glad you are okay and keep those suitcases close...It's a big mess out there. Back in 2001 my Dad died after evacuating Big Bear...it was just too much for him. Take care my bloggin sister..Love, Lucy
