Saul_relative, right, it is natural selection in action when entire tribes and countries have been repressed either by design or unconsciously.

Watson is known for his outrageous remarks, kingmi. Sort of like

Limbaugh and Coulter, only with immensely more credibility.  And although some of his statements read like something out of the Jim Crow South, his assertion that many assume identical evolution of disparate cultures on different continents is on the mark.  That is not to say that one race is intellectually inferior, capacity-wise, to another, just that cultural advances (or declines or stagnation) have great impact on particular cultures.  It explains why cultures are so markedly diverse throughout the world instead of being homogenous. 

This, however, does not explain some of his more bigoted statements, like the remark about working with black people.  I believe this is a prejudice he may have learned and harbored throughout his long life, showing up now in a careless remark...
