Yes
Yes-- I can relate.. before we found out i was pregnant, i had decided to let loose and see how all the "fun people lived." (haha in my own little way) so i smoked like 3 ciggarettes and got drunk a couple of times. decided I didn't like it, then found out I was pregnant. I prayed nightly to take all those harmful chemicals away from my child!! its so scary to think you may have done something to hurt them before they even had a chance!!!

but so far he is a happy healthy toddler-- thanks be to GOD all the way--- clearly not my doing!
Glad all went well with you also :)

Sheilah

Hi there,

It was the longest 8 months of my life.  Even though I was assured that the drug would not even reach the baby, since it was during the first trimester, I didn't rest easy.  And, yes, my 2nd son was born with all the right everything and he is now a very healthy, intelligient and handsome 21 year old young man!!!

I'll never forget the moment he came out, though................the first thing I said was to my husband, "Does he have all his fingers and toes??"  Whew, what a relief when I saw a perfect, 8lb 5oz boy kicking and screaming his little blue face off!

Good to see you back and thanks for sharing your story with me!

yes, I can sort off relate to that.
I had an urinary tract infection once and was given anti-biotics during 20 days. I latter found out I was pregnant. Aside from that I take medication for glaucoma. I was terrified at the fact that my baby could have problems... my worries were over a few weeks later when I had a miscairage. but the doctor said that those antibiotics weren't the reason... still, I don't forgive myself.
