Pat, I won't even complain about the food, even if it's ghastly, for fear of offending the chef, incurring his wrath and risking having his bodily fluids in my soup - my only revenge is never to go back...

Did you know that in Jamaica a rat broth is used as medicine for Whooping Cough. I have not heard of anyone who has died from that potion. On the contrary, many kids must have been saved. Bring the moths on.

I'm sooo appreciative for this survival tip......I'm tossing out the stinky balls and embracing my new fuel source!!!!  Well, we all know that in these times, one never knows.........(and I do love hazlenuts....and, besides, I figure I've already ingested so many bugs in food over the years, I'm not all that squamish about these things......)!

Naut, as much as I'm enjoying your gourmet menu, I think I'll stick to

As a child, one of my most favorite books was, "A Girl Of The Limberlost" by.............. (went blank on the author, LOL).   Anyway your comment about chasing moths reminded me of it.  Since I am at the Library right now, I think I will look it up and have fun reading it once more.  I don't think there were any rats in the story though, except for her two-timing father.
