That is exactly my argument, food4thought. Every time I get into a
discussion with an anti-death penalty person and they use the deterrent line, I always answer with the no repeat offenders or recidivists among the dead, are there?

to me people like this are like a dog with the rabies, it can't be cured they are terminaly sick in a way that is much worse than cancer, you don't put a dog with rabies in a cage and wait for him to die you alimanate him. In this case I think he should be tortured for at least two or three years put in a fire ant bed with open wounds before he caused to die a slow painful death maybe then he would beg God for mercy / spinner

It’s a moral dilemma – what to do with pedophiles. Is the death sentence the answer or is a living hell (high security imprisonment) the answer. I don’t know. I do know they don’t have the right to every roam the streets again.

Thanks, OTA. I believe there are a lot of people who have conflicting
feelings about certain topics. I am generally a pacifist by nature myself. However, I totally agree with you in this regard. I would gladly pull the lever, inject the cocktail, push the button, fire the bullet, or whatever had to be done to rid us of these verminous degenerates. Of course, I might find that I don't really have the stomach for it (I doubt it but it is possible), but that would not alter my thoughts on what needs be done to protect our children.

I must confess that I did not read your post. I did read the headline though and am commenting to say that it pleases me that he has been caught and arraigned. I get physically ill at the thought of anyone hurting a small child. It is disgusting in a way that takes the breath out of me. I write poetry about peace and it may seen hypocritical of me to say this but I feel strongly about punishing anyone who commits violent acts against children. If they ever need someone to pull the handle on the chair or stick the needle in the monsters arm, I volunteer. Please forgive me for not reading your post.
