Agreed. Religion paradoxically often draws on two traits of man -
selfishness, and fear. The fears are principally of different races or cultures, an of death. These fears are real and exist today just as much as ever before, therefore religion thrives. As for removing fear of death, this is an even harder task than creating world harmony!
