My heart breaks...
This poem exposes the truth we all hide from the world, that inside we are all a scared child afraid to truly live. As painful as it is, the ending line is what breaks my heart, not because it is sad although it is that, but because it is so full of hope and joy. Once we break free from our fears we can begin to live, and the greatest joy is in the living.
