Cool, thank you!  Yeah, I know all about the diehard (usually diehard strictly feminist 'fans') chipping off the Hughes name.. I hate that.  Very considerate to her children.. not. I'd love to go to the Arvon Foundation Centre one day... I quite often drool over their leaflets... and always mean to enter the competition each year.  Hope your reading goes well :)

OK. Will try to remember my camera. Plath's grave is interesting as the diehard Plath fans continually scrub away any reference to Ted. We probably won't be going up there, though, what with us going to the pub first. At Heptonstall, there is also an Arvon Foundation centre, where I took a bunch of kids for the week once. They do adult courses there too. You could combine one with a sort of pilgrimage one day.

Re:
Oh wow.. no... I've still never been to Sylvia's grave.  I've been 'researching' her for nearly 25 years now, but I've never been there... would so so like to go.. unfortunately, my panic attacks etc. prevent me from going.. up until now anyway.  I've had opportunities to go, but I've always had to turn them down... the worse was last year I was asked to speak at a Plath/Hughes evening that was being held in Hebden Bridge - asked to read some of her poems and talk a bit about her life, but I couldn't go.  Would *love* to see any photos!  Have a good time!

I fear for him more than me, Morney. Did you know that me and Tony are heading into Plath country this Wednesday night. We're going to an open mic session in Hebden Bridge at the Stubbin Wharf. We're not sure whether we have enough spliffs stockpiled yet. I'm sure you will have been to her grave nearby, but if you haven't been to the pub, I'll take a photo for you.

Re:
Thank you very much!  Maybe you don't *have* to submit the phone number.. I don't really see why you do need to when you're giving your email address.. it's just one guy really who runs the page.. I know him through MySpace... let me know if you ever want me to ask him if the phone number has to be put in... could just say you haven't got a phone, actually!

I went to have a look. Good site (with some superb poetry at the top of the shop!)

I might have a go too, though I don't fancy the submitting my phone number bit.

Well done again!

Well done, Morney. It's all good when stuff like that perks you up.
