It was the best camera I could buy for the money I wanted to spend. At least, that was why take on the thing. I will use and enjoy it.

Congratulations on your new acquisition. Sony CyberShot is a good one. The next one that is recommended for DSLR is Canon EOS. The 350D is reasonably priced. Of course they have the 40D which is the best of the lower mid range. The Rolls Royce is of course the Canon EOS IDs MarkIII which is really something. I was tempted to get the Sony DSLR and Canon EOS. In the end I chose Canon and never regretted it. Enjoy your shooting.
