Nautikos, welcome to this colomn! If you have read much of my writings, you will have noticed that I have a healthy respect for agnostics. I have yet to find one who does not have sound, honest reasoning. Again, welcome aboard!

I expect the same as you, but I hope to be proved wrong! I expect rationalsation, ready-made built-in excuses such as "the ways of the Lord are wonderous and strange to man; who can know them, it is God's Will, God helps those who help themselves, one must rightly devine the Scriptures, he, she, or they are tools of the Lord," etc., etc., etc., and on and on and other well-known "cop-outs" too numerous to mention.
But I have been wrong before, and will be again! Maybe this time???
