That's something I often think about... no.. usually I don't know how it's going to end. Usually I have a first line or just a few words in my head for a few days and then they suddenly 'come out' and I write the whole poem really quickly - then I leave it for a couple of days and probably change a few words. But it's a strange feeling.. I usually don't feel as if it was me that wrote the poem.. sometimes I don't know what I meant by something until months later and I don't think I ever know how it's going to end.
How about you? :)

This was just loaded with a dullness, in a good way, like the dull pain
of knowing that someone is toying with your emotions. Excellent work, opheliablue!

Tell me Ophelia, do you know at the outset how it is going to 'end'? And if you do, then doesn't that mean that it has all somehow already 'happened'? And if not, then when/how do you know? Tell me for you and I'll tell you for me. Moon

I read it out loud for you and is was great! I could feel your rising awareness that something/someone was slipping away.

Some great tricks with language and image -
it creates a suitably confused and disoriented feel.
