Ah, the great leveler -- mediocrity.
It sucks that it should have such power over achievement. The older I get, the more contempt I have. It's called growing up, and some folks never get it.

I believe some of those people are Blogging right here in Blogitsville! What you are talking about is just like the problems we have in our school system.......achievers progress too quickly, making it harder on the "unappreciated". It's the same old story.....
People are never willing to look at themselves and ask "Can I do better?" How can we help them when they first must be willing to help themselves? They have a diet of negativity and practice being persecuted with a smidgeon paranoia on the side.
I sure as hell am not going to alter my drive and enjoyment of succeeding just to make them feel better and neither should you. We are what we are and should not have to feel bad because of it..........
