doesnt sound any different than what is happening in usof a.
when i went to college, a professor told us that in our lifetime, home ownership would not be part of the american dream for our children, we all scoffed at him.
guess what, and then when you are old, on social security, you cant pay the taxes, insurance and upkeep, so you take out another mortage so you have someplace to live till you die, which you do quickly because you have to work your butt off in your old age, in low paying jobs because you are old.
and whoever is lucky enough to inherit, well they get the mortage along with the house, not much to fight over i guess.
