Go to Miaella's Little Black Book.Add a commentGo to What if who we are to become has already been decided for us.

That subject is included in a list of items I have decided to discuss with
G-d on the other side.
  1. Evolution
  2. Predestination
  3. Gifts of the Spirit
  4. Evangelicalism vs. Catholicism
  5. Predicting the 2nd Coming and End Times Prophecy
  6. Showing love when people push us to its opposite.
  7. There are probably more but I cannot think of them right now.

Wow, what a topic. I hope I wasn't just desinted for this ridiculous joke of a life I've led...or maybe I do. Myabe I don't want to have created it...Hhmm...Actualyl now I'm just sad that it didn't work between you and your ex-boyfriend. Sounds like you two connected on many levels.

Scrabble is one of my
favorite games.  Predestiny is an interesting topic. Once my dad met a psychic who told him evetything that was going to happen, and then it did.  Had he believed the psychic, could he have changed things?  Or, was everything supposed to happen the way it did?  Anyway, you take care lady

God has given us free will

and even though he has the power to look at the future, he chooses not too.

Mia,

Now, don't rush off to have me locked up someplace when I tell you this, but I do believe I was born already knowing God...He saved my life on the very day I came into this world, when everyone else was sure I would die.

When I made it through that first year, everyone was sure I would die by the age of five...That was thirty years ago!

I first heard God's voice whisper in my ear when I was four years old.  It has whispered to me countless times since then, and it was His voice who told me I have a son.

I will hear His beautiful voice countless more times before He takes me to be with Him again.

Thank you for sharing this post with us.  Be blessed.

Good Lord Miaella ... this is a tough one! I do blame some of the things that happened to me over the years on destiny, but I'd like to think that I am somehow in "control" of my life ...

This quote from Shakespeare's 12th Night is somewhat related (no, I'm not a Shakespeare buff - it's the only thing I remember from the whole play!) ....

Some are born great

Some achieve greatness

Some have greatness thrust upon them

I sometimes change great to rich since it sounds better ... needless to say neither great nor rich have actually happened to me - so I'm still waiting!

Oh man! One could contemplate questions like that for ever. It makes my brain hurt. What ever happens, happens
