I like your take on political planets, food4thought. Oh, and about those
people who so want to be offended, those vicariously offended, and those truly offended to their very core -- screw 'em. I mean, really, come on. This is a forum for open dialogue and should be a place where one can speak (type) freely. In other words, no matter how asinine, simplistic, foolish, outlandish, disgusting, liberal, conservative, and/or insensitive you may be, you still have the right to say it. Just be ready for the backlash. But if you are going to rebuke someone for something, you must also be ready for the rebuked to defend. The offended usually become such only because their sense of values have been infringed upon, when, really, all that has occurred is that someone has a different viewpoint, no matter how ill-conceived. In other words, if that person did not attack you personally, do not return fire; keep it in the abstract and discuss...
