There is no doubt that for any information to be transfered, there must
be a willing recipient.  And as with anything, presentation is everything.  Interest can wane.  Quality does matter.

I am an ex-teacher too, and while I agree, I believe that the kind of information and how it is presented, creates the learning experience. You can bore a person or you can interest them. Yet the quality of the 'teachees' matter. Nothing will grow in poor soil! Libraries and the internet offer all kinds of enlightenment. It is a very popular way of doing things. 'Each one teach one'. I seek enlightenment with vigor and share my findings. Who sees that doing in a derogatory way, guess what, they can derogate to their hearts leisure. Thanks for the opportunity to  share my views on the subject!
