uh-huh, but...

Yes, yes and yes... but I don't believe they are occasionally visiting our planet or snatching people for science. I mean, if they have the technology to travel here, why do they need to kidnap humans to do research on them? Incredibly talented in physics but incompetent in technology to allow for non-invasive research? Um... doesn't really make sense...

Nautikos - the odds in favor of there being life elsewhere in the universe

are, if you will excuse the pun, astronomical.

If I've done my gozintas right utilitizing the popularized number of of 70 sextillion divided by 1,000 (to err on the conservative side), I get 70 million to one in favor. So I have to go YES, YES, VERY LIKELY YES as my three answers.

As a side note, the odds against us being visited by other intelligent life forms, which are arrived at by a completely different means, are simularly astronomical as well.

It is quite fascinating to speculate on such things. My opinion is that anything is possible with God and I definitely believe that God is and that He is omnipotent. So, who knows what might be out there. I can't wait to find out. Personally, I think of death as the beginning of a new great adventure.

I believe it would be too (would it be correct to say) "narcissic" of us think that "humans" are the only (correct) form of life out here. The universe is so vast... and who can garantee that we know it all?!

I think there is no reason to believe that we are the only life form...conscious life form...in the whole universe....when we really don't even have a full grasp on what the universe is.....also, I am relentlessly hopeful! So....yes, yes, yes......I guess...

I believe all of the above, BUT I also believe there is more chance, that another intelligent form of life being out there, could just as easily come from the depths of our on oceans, that only 1 percent of has been explored. Which is more fanciful, we already know there is life here / spinner

Chyrlann, don't sell youself short! What do you mean you're 'not bright'? I have read your writings...And when it come to these questions, nobody really 'knows' anything! Truly, my opinion based upon very little knowledge which is probably more

dangerous than helpful, would be that Earth is a comparatively new planet as planets go, so I would guess Earthlings to be UB (unevolved beings) and older planets having the capability of sustaining life (in whatever form), would have HEB (higher evolved beings). I'm just making this stuff up but sounds good huh?

A conscious form of life......

conscious of its self....I am alive and I am a living organism?

I guess that means I know I am a living organism and I'm not very bright, so I would assume there are living organisms much brighter than I.

I generally have opinions and know very little about nothing, anything..about very little. There are a trillion-kazzillion galaxies and cosmologists are witnessing the birth of new galaxies now as well. What are we and who would we be if our planet held the only living organisms? What was the second question?

With how big the universe is, I think would be crazy to say no.

There must be other life out there somewhere. In what form, I really don't know. I don't envision the whole ET or star wars spaceship theory... but maybe plants or animals or something...
