Re: Is the west suffering from some kind of Ahmadinejad phobia ?

No.  But, I do believe his veiled message was a call to those who desire THE LAW OF SHARIA to rule. I have no phobia regarding him; however, if I must share my house with a ferret, I must know the animal's habits, instincts, and desires.  Much of this is publicly known and not conjecture.  Do you favor the Law of Sharia for us?  Do you endorse the hate speech?  I think not?  Your private religious views are between you and your Creator.  But do not even think we have a phobia about Iran.  It has a duplicitious leadership and a dubious clergy and, moreover it is at covert --now almost overt -- war with America.

You presume more than you know and that's not good, Afzal.  Not good at all.  Examine certain things and you will see that I am correct.

As for Iran:I do not trust that government!  I have a dear friend who is Iranian and just returned.  I won't tell you here what was discussed; but do not invoke "phobia" where Iran or its leaders are concerned.

You are dead wrong for even "posing"he question in such a condenscending manner.  I held you in higher regard than that. joab

Maybe its good to hear for the american people to see and hear first hand,
but i do agree with you about it being a hugh victory for him as far as enjoying the spotlight at home. It was a bold move on his part to come.  This man is not another Husain.  And i feel this situation with iran is much more serious than any we have encountered yet in the middle east.
