No... I've never considered it although I'm home most of the day and would be a perfect candidate. Don't know how my husband would feel about it - convincing him we should have one cat (Pooh Doo) was challenging enough.

Although I can't foster as I am out all day almost every day
I do cat-sit often which I and my dog (he loves cats!) thoroughly enjoy!

I have considered fostering, actually. Though not cats or dogs.
I was thinking more along the lines of Rhesus monkeys.
But I wouldn't know what to do with them during the school year. I mean, my mother complains enough as it is about having to occasionally feed my current pets (tarantulas, scorpions, centipede, praying manti, water bugs, etc).

One day when I live by myself I will think about it
Tim and I would bring in home any pets we found wondering and we would make sure they went back home. We loved animals.

That sounds lovely - I am thinking of getting a new cat. I miss my cat so much - I had her for 16 years, but she died 2 years ago and life isn't the same without a cat
