- Go to Nine Horses -- Billy Collins
There's a certain appeal to his style, FYS. I found that I could not like
one of his poems but continue on to the next without a problem. Usually, I find myself not continuing after reading a couple poems in a single volume I do not like. Reading Collins is like conversing with a friend -- sometimes you disagree but you still speak to one another...

And you are the reason I write, OTA. Affirmation of one's work is the
trigger, the stimulus. Very few write for their own amusement. And I am a firm believer in sharing the wealth. Poetry is a very non-lucrative form, even if the poets are heaped with accolades and attain a degree of prestige. So if affirmation is the trigger, if a simple word or line of praise initiates another great poem (or painting, novel, video game, screenplay, etc.), I will gladly give it. Thank you, OTA, for your kind words are also a trigger...

He's not too bad, FineYoungSinger, but he isn't one of my favorites.
