what the middle three lines are called-and I think of myself as a poet!!! All I know is-that the middle line 'continues' the theme of the first line and then the third line-is the 'twist'.I think I have it written down somewhere-I will try to find it later!God bless-Chris.

That was beautiful - I really love the middle three lines (sorry, I'm not too sure what to call them... if they're the senru bit... and I call myself a poet!)

POEM: Pearl and Praise

Murmuring brook

forested nook

dancing sunlight on faces of color

Little girl's life

godly strife, victim or wife?

serving apart; contrite as ever

Darkening forest

revealing truth

sunlight plays hide and streak

Girl astride stream

deconstructs past theme

reconcile american family

American dreams

Indian streams

second chances, dark dances, fused futures

Golden-haired girl

stares at Black world

food-basket and braids of Pocahontas

My dark daughters

my bright doctors

children teach us humanity again
