Re: Xenox, I appreciate your comments . . .
that solar maximum is an 11 year cycle.  we are talking about much bigger things here.

WE ALL ARE AGREED THAT THE CLIMATE IS CHANGING
You say it's natural -- you are saying that humankind is about to face the greatest series of disasters ever and there is nothing we can do about it at all.

You fail to admit to this, though.

However, a vast bulk of scientists attribute the warming to human activities.  And if sok then this problem can be mitigated down the road.

I sound like a broken record, but you haven't at all seemed to respond to this -- don't you think it would be better -- at least maybe a glimmer of hope exists -- if we could do something about it?

So we refuse to accept that human activity might contribute -- so we continue as we have been going.  Meanwhile the pollutants do more than help create a greenhouse effect.  They cause asthma and pulmonary problems, and affect humans' immediate environment in so many detrimental ways.

Shoot!  Hang global warming!  How about our lungs and skin and the health of our children?

Aren't our children worth doing something about?

Xenox, I appreciate your comments . . .
. . . but you're not paying attention.   The climate is indeed changing, although there is some debate as to just how. The main problem is why. Here's a link to the most likely cause: http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap060807.html. Come up with a way to keep it from going through Solar Maximum, as it did in 2000 just as the "global warming" fad took hold, and you'll be on your way to ending "global warming." Good luck, let me know when you have it figured out.

but all this happening is and certainly going to happen.
where do you think the ice from the lgaciers, and Greenland and Antarctica is going to go?

outer space?

It is actually happening and you talk like it isn't.

sorry, but it's true.

the world is still warming up.
that's a fact.

now the Arctic Ice is so thin that soon ocean going ships will be traversing its waters.

you seem to persist in saying that the climate is not warming.
