I'm buying it soon

and I do think he served a purpose in my life. He helped me through the worse weeks of the divorce and for that I'm very grateful.

sometimes
people come into our lives for a very short time, and even if it doesn't seem like it ended right, it really did. just because he wanted more doesn't mean he didn't serve his purpose in your life. Hmmmm........you know, a really good book that could help you is
YOUR ERRONEOUS ZONES. LOL Sorry....I had to do it again.... It will help you let go of the guilt and worry.

My biggest mistake was rushing in. I will never do it again.

Not having a house or a husband of my own, I definitely feel that I've simplified my life. LOL.

Yes, I am no longer going to cling to any man just because I don't want to hurt him or because I like him a lot. Those are not reasons to stay in a relationship.

pfft! men!
long distance relationships suck

amen to that! ... I think it's best if you get yourself back together again before you start another long-term relationship - so I think you did the best thing there

sad that he did get hurt, but I have to say "YAY FOR YOU!"
Having been exactly where you are myself, you are doing great!

take time out for yourself like I am doing. I have found the most wonderful
man but I refuse to rush to him. It's hard on us both but it takes time to get one's head in a good space after a terrible relationship ends.Good luck.

Simplify your life, take time off by yourself. Answers usually come when you are calm and composed!

that last lesson is a good one. Learning you don't need a relationship is
important if you ever want to find a healthy one.
