How Do You Intend To Bring This About?
Justi: If the Muslim people listened to Anwar Sadat instead of these violent revolutionaries like Khomeni and bin Laden, maybe there would be peace or, at least, a dramatic lessening of the current violence.

Thank you so very much for a wonderfully thoughtful comment. It is true those wanting peace do not understand it cannot be. We are only plugging the dyke to keep away an immediate flood. I do understand exactly what you are saying.

Very heartfelt, and valid, post. I think I know what they would - and will, regardless - do.....blame any violence on the fact that we went over there.....history seems to already have been rewritten by many and reading them you would think there was never really a problem before we went over there. I know they will say any future violence is all the fault of Bush.....forgetting that declaring war actually was a different response to violence against us that has gone on a long time.....doing virtually nothing had been the response, and emboldened those who planned 9/11. But, I know they don't think this way because they aren't intelligent, passionate, or well-meaning.....their basic views may be right....who knows here and now.....we look at the same information and, depending on views, interpret it differently. We all want what's best for our lives now and in the future for those after....peace would be wonderful, as you say...but it takes more than one.....in the world, just like in our streets and families. Ideas versus yelling would be refreshing.
