Well if I was to try and explain this from my reasoning/beliefs I would explain it like this :-
There were many tiny particles of energy just endlessly flittering around. Then over time these particles came across each other and started to merge into larger particles. Then lets say that eventually two large particles came into contact and merged but by doing so it created/caused a huge power reaction, because as these tiny particles were merging they were becoming more and more powerful, gained more strength, so to speak. Till eventually the two greater one's merged and made one, which in turn started to function.
It's a bit like a jigsaw puzzle. First you start with many pieces all over the place, then it takes time to assemble and put these pieces together. Now once we have put these pieces together we now have ONE piece, it's now complete and takes on a whole new form. When I personally came up with this theory I asked myself "Well what is the function of a jigsaw" and simply answered it "It's function is to show me the true overall picture of it's meaning".
Another way to look at it is :-
Take a motor car before it has been assembled, it will not function or be complete until all the relevant components have been assembled together.

Very interesting perspectives! And, it is making sense. Instead of 'big bang', the Hindu scriptures uses the word "expansion". Good write! Clean up after you write.....makes it easier to read!
