well, I'm a believer, and I for one do not find you hard to get along with.

Who was it that said "I may disagree with what you say, but I'll fight to the death for your right to say it"?

Many people are groupthinkers, Kooka.  They need to have too much validation, which means they can't have an original thought of their own.  So what if there are disagreements between people on this site?  They are necessary for all people to find common ground.  If everyone agreed this world would be so boring.  I don't want everyone agreeing with me.  How can I grow in my own beliefs without being challenged by a well-argued disagreement?  How can anyone?

You do a good job of presenting your points; you react in kind, and you challenge people to prove their points.  Can't say as I see anything wrong with that!

kooka_lives - the ones guilty of these things are simply promoting inequity

which of course is in their favor.

I get a kick out of some of these atheist bashers. I haven't as yet met one that was basing their nonsensical ramblings on anything but bias and propaganda. The one you refer to in this post is a perfect example. He speaks in broad generalizations about the 20 million or so atheists that live in North America from experiences (by his own admission) that are extrapulated from 4 people. Two in real life and two right here on Blogit and the laughable part is that one of the atheists he counts is an agnostic, so in reality that makes just 3 people to base his negative assessments on. In any other field or area of enquiry if a person were to do such a thing they would be admonished by their peers for using such a miniscule sampling but this individual's peers stop by and say "good post" instead. Maybe we should make a list of 4 Christians and base our opinions of all Christians on them? Do you think that some of those same people who are so willing to offer support to the atheist basher might object?
