Can you imagine, my mother-in-law is a dentist, so I'm very trained. She's retired for a couple of years, but before I had the opportunitiy to have my teeth "mended" by her. Can you imagine sitting in your mother-in-law's dentist chair? And she's coming with the drill? brr.... Allright, as a matter of fact she did fine job. But still.
Another nightmarish situation was when I went to another dentist (in highschool days, he was the father of my friend), and he told me, that i have to go to room 101. Eeeek! Room 101 was the torturing room in George Orwell's 1984. (As it turned out, here room 101 was x-ray, but still...)
As for catapult... I have a very close friend, his 54 years old, he was my teacher once, and know he construct mini catapults, and other warmachines, like the ancient Romans had. They are actually working! So youre husban with a catapult is nothing weird.
