Re: Re: Callista
I see you discovered the hazards of microwave ovens. It is said that if you give Ormus good tools to work with it does a better job. Get a multi-vit/multimineral from GNC. These usually have extracts from vegetables like bio-flavonoids, carrotenoids etc. They usually have anti-oxidants and digestive enzymes, even pro-biotics. Can't go wrong there. When you want that surge of refreshness, take 6 drops of H2O2 in a glass of distilled water on an empty stomach or 4 hours after food. As the oxygen level in you goes up, everything brightens. You need this in winter! You will do well, though there be 'hiccups' to deal with. They resort to telling lies to your supervisor. Watch out for that! Best wishes.

Re: Callista
i am taking the ormus, should i continue and also take the vitamins. i also take the gingko and i try to eat well, but i was taking microwave lunches, but will stop that as it takes all the good out of the food, and i will take better lunches.  i can see the wisdom in what you are telling me, i will follow your advice.

Yep! That's them alright! My approach is to concentrate, to focus on what I am there for. If you help customers, focus on that. Narrow your focus so that you only see where you are going. Stop trying to 'smile' them into friendliness, They don't care. It is your attention they want, don't give it. It is your discomfiture they want, adopt the ' I am here to work' poise. If there are decent ones there, you'll find them in time. Smile with them. For others, show them your serious, business-like self. Be straightfoward and formal with them, offering  no weakness they can exploit.  When you need help from them, ask in a serious but polite way. Then dismiss them from your consciousness as you focus only on where you are  walking to. In time you will learn the ropes. Work out everything yourself, so in the future you won't have to ask. Health and wit counts as  does your ability to mind your own business while they huddle. Tell yourself that.... that doesn't concern me! Buy a good quality vitamin B complex. Get a good quality multi-mineral/multi-vitamin.... like from GNC. Get some gingko biloba.  There are other things for energy but my email cannot send messages. I will write you when it can.  Take care!

My approach was individualistic not on the scale you are writing about. As an individual, I do not support thinking in a vacuum. So the lessons of experience are presented not to auto-suggest, but as the kind of sharing blogit members engage in. I did not write on political or economic happiness, although, at times I go into these things. I observe politics, and political happenings. Sometimes, I present them here, if I feel it helps. Politics determines a lot in our lives. My approach to living is based on religion and spirituality. That's what I write about. Thanks for your visit and your comments!

I completely agree with about all of your observations.....especially on life "since"....and 1970 is probably a good year to choose as the divider.  It's not surprising that the most disagreement I've seen you get so far is from someone who is 30ish.  Of course, you can only speak from your perspective, formed in the country and times you grew up in....that's all anyone can honestly do.  As someone who has been here longer than most on this site....I agree!

very good read with many points to ponder. I recently wrote about the
secrets of happy people in a post .  Too long to go into here but at some points we would agree,at others we would respectfully disagree.  Thanks for being so honest in your sharing.

Well...
I don't agree. Times are changing, but it's an auto-suggestion to say that life was happier in the past. Of course there can be persons, who were happier in the past, but life and the world, and humanity as a whole is not more evil, nor better. Nature of people not changing.  It's a different world, as the 70-s, but it's still up to the person to live a happy life. God gives everybody the right to make decisions. In the 70-s there were unhappy people, even whole countries. The people of Chile in Augsto Pincohet's dictature, for example, lived their life in constant fear. Now they are free people, so I think they would say the world is a better place for them, then was in the last century. So don't rush into general conclusions just from your personal life and feelings. Or in the fifties, in my county, Hungary, people was starving, and afraid in communism. By the 70'-s it became better, but still, for example my people couldn't leave the country when ever they wanted. especially to go west one needed special permissons and good connections. I'was over 10 years old when I first went to Austria, which is our neighborhood country.

Thought-provoking post...I like the Bible verse that says, "Godliness with
contentment is great gain."  Hence, I seek to be Godly by allowing God to dwell in me through Christ...this, coupled with learning to be "content in all things" (As Paul said) leads to great gain...

I believe we start to search for happiness in all the wrong places until we realize that happiness comes from within. People that are happy can find happiness in the simplest things.

You have some pretty strong opinions here.

I don't agree that Evil is numb in the mind; Genesis says that the serpant was cunning.  I think we all have choices to make, and despite technology, musical fads, literary and artistic trends, we can choose to be happy with ourselves or we can choose to let all the latest and greatest tempt us away from what is important to us.

Good read, soul, as always! FYS

Happiness

Still reading through your post in parts at times, its all worthy reading.  This whole site has plenty to go through from all wakes of life and situations.

As for happiness, to me its what an individual makes of it.  Someones happiness could be someone elses grief, someones pleasure could be someone elses pain, so with all that said I think happiness is a very personal and private emotion. Some may find happiness at someone elses expense, yet to them it still makes them feel happy.  So I guess for me its true to say, I could not be happy for anyone else but myself AND I mean that in a good way. Yes, I can be happy for other's etc its just happiness is a unique emotion, I mean we can laugh and be happy, yet we can also cry tears of happiness, on the flip side we can't be sad and laughing, that to me is what sets happiness apart.

Oooops there I go again, rambling on.

Regards

Phil
