Any person that falls into a category or stereotype is going to have good and bad parts to them. It's just the way it goes! Myself, many of my friends have been this fangirl-type, and I wouldn't go back and do a thing different. ^_^

Friends accept us the way we are...
of course we have a tendency to look spend more time with people who have simular tastes or habits, etc. but that doesn't mean we don't like or won't be friends with people who are diferent from us. Now if you don't get out of the house... people will never get to meet you.
Plus...we're usually more critical of ourselves than other people are.

if you like his/her company than you should - reminds me a bit of a friend I once had, the toughest part was to have to put up with his oh-so-very-out-of-date clothes
