Actually, until just a few years ago, I would have said I'm exactly the same....I always got along with everyone and was a "floater"...moving between all the groups from the popular set (and, yes, I was one of those) to the misfits....I always cared about everyone and was very sweet and easygoing. The last few years, I've gotten more of an "edge" and am not as patient with people I spend a lot of time with (like the people I've been working with 72 hrs a week, for almost two years...I doubt they would say I'm the sweetest thing they ever met!

don't know really .....
definitely not the popular one - not even unpopular (just plain invisible to most) but I had (& still do) a few real close friends and some acquantances ... I prefer it that way, because I give a great deal of importance to true friendship - that takes a lot of work

, so don't have time to be friends with everyone!!!
Also I never really cared to go with the flow and aim to be the popular one - couldn't be bothered really. I think I behave differently
around different people, if you know what I mean. So if you ask around about me, you will probably get different answers, because if you're asking close friends (the people who really know me) they'd say I was fun, bold, gutsy, sometimes a loner, and a bit crazy (in a positive cute way) but if you ask my acquantances they'd probably say I was a bit on the quiet side, and a boring person
but that's because if I see that I've got very few things in common with a person, I'm not really me with them - CONCLUSION: I think I'm a very confused person

Well, in no way would I think of Blogit as my highschool
Comparing both experiences is like comparing night and day.

MiaElla, I'm the same.
I'm very independent and have never been good at "maintaining" friendships. Only because I'm preoccupied with my activities and need space. And, I can be snappy, impatient, and unfun. People found me interesting, annoying, strange, and distant. Kind of the same as here. Good thing we don't have to go back!!

Nope, wasn't popular in high school...the reason? I was pretty uninvolved
in school activities! LOL My freshman year I joined track, the pep club, French Club and was even a water girl for the football team, but never was a cheerleader, nor popular...didn't even make that part of the yearbook "Most Likely to." After freshmen year, I gave up trying to fit in and be popular. I was on the thesbian acting club for a while, too. Mostly, I was pretty much a loner...still am. How I ever made it on Blogit is a mystery? I assume because I've acted crazy and loud, overcompensated (as I wrote in my crapola post) for being boring and shy. It's been interesting to be everything I WASN'T in high school. At my high school reunion, though, I was "Ariala" not "Trish" and got everyone on the dance floor acting crazy and I was rather the popular one at that event. Go figure.

M ia
I carry with me some of the characteristics of high school but I think I stand up for myself more than I did as a shy, non confrontational, "do-good" teen. I've learned how to say "no" with grace.
