How messed up is that?
I hope she counter sues the police on this one. That is just too stupid for words. What are those cops thinking? You don't arrest someone for that. Not only does it make the cops look bad and fit into all kinds of stereotypes that will only help to make the public have less faith in them and be more likely to disrespect them, but they are also NOT doing their jobs. Now they could have done the right thing and sued the restaurant for what happened, but to arrest the woman was just over reacting and wrong on every level. It is no way to earn the slightest amount of respect from the people.

If the lid comes off the salt and you pour it into the meat why not take a spoon and take it off. If it is too much toss the meat. Also why would there be an accidental tops loosened on both. I would check the pepper top after what just happened to me. I think all people working in any public food dispensary of any sort has a responsibility to the consumer first and foremost. Why is this particular McDonald's making their own burgers, they are shipped in from some other facility aren't they? There is more to this and other things have been happening here I would bet.

Makes me wonder about the mental health of the officer, his three
back-ups, and the judge. Also looks like the first act in a media circus, featuring Al Sharpton and the ACLU.
This guy was lucky it was only extra salt and pepper. I imagine any cop who's ever leaned on a teen-ager has to worry a bit if he eats a meal at the joint where that kid works. He's almost guaranteed to find a little something extra between the cheese and the burger.
